welcome to my beach vacation

The National Weather Service just broke in, interrupting "Spongebob", to announce that there are flood warnings in effect for much of Maine and New Hampshire.

Look at the "bright" side, you guys will probably hit your personal yearly rainfall totals.

I wonder if this can be worked into some means of avoiding the MIL.

Today was so much more nice, though, wasn't it? I hope you were able to enjoy it...

Sadly we spent the nice day mostly in a hot car driving down to get the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. This trip has so little flexibility in it and so many long distances to be covered. Next, I'm hellbent on getting up to Machias to see my aunt & uncle there, and you, Emily, will fully appreciate the driving implicit in that. Lots of listening to "iris is hogging the armrest" in a little whiny voice and "LUCY STOP SINGING" in an angry, commanding big sister voice.

Thanks for alerting, one should get complete information about the climate of a particular place before deciding it as a destination for vacation trip.
