the aquarium.

i just wanted to say this because I thought it was very odd:

The Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco now has chinchillas and hedgehogs.

what will humanity think of next?

So, how was camp? And did the "forced-to-go" girl have a good time after all?

Moonrabbit, my better half, whom you have met, works with a group called STRAW. (Students And Teachers Restoring A Watershed) They work under The Bay Institute (TBI) which just bought The Aquarium At The Bay, which is now non profit and becoming more into educational stuff. Coincidentally, a neighbor across the street works at the Aquarium also. An independent film has been made about STRAW called "STRAW, A Simple Question". It has been winning lots of awards at film festivals. If you get a chance to see it, check it out.
And I would like to hear about camp also.

I've asked her repeatedly to do a guest blog about camp, but so far, no soap. I'm on it, people, I'm on it.

Silliyak, tell Moonrabbit we've been big fans of the Aquarium of the Bay since it opened. We've had a family membership off and on since it was a young aquarium (just renewed). She can't get me a discount on those slumber parties under the sharks, can she? Or quality time backstage with the chinchillas??

p.s. my word verif. is "goriness", which fits well with mentioning sharks.

I found out that the chinchilla and hedgehog
displays are paid for by PG&E (something to do with climate change) and they paid Big Bucks to do it.
