I overheard the Sober Husband saying frustratedly to nine year-old Iris uber Alles, "I don't have to make sense to you!"
I know this is a comedic vignette, but for some reason I can't picture this dialogue without Mike & the Mechanics' "The Living Years" playing as the background soundtrack.
